Donna Johnson Scoppa's Obituary
Donna Johnson Scoppa, 59 of Fayetteville passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 in Fayetteville. She was born November 23, 1949 in Mooresville, NC to Cecil Johnson and Lela (Morrow) Johnson.
After graduating from The University of North Carolina Charlotte and receiving her Masters at the University of Georgia, she was a teacher and social worker with the University of Arkansas, a member of the National Association of Social Workers, a former board member of Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Ozark Affiliate, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years Peter Scoppa, two sons; Jason Peter Scoppa of Daytona Beach, FL, David Peter Scoppa of Mito, Japan, and one sister; Gay Wyche of Thomasville, NC.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 26, 2009 at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale with Father John Antony officiating.
