Joyce Starr (Cousin)
I remember seeing JD playing with Wanda and Carol in their back yard from my Grandma's kitchen window. My grandmother was JD's Aunt Nettie. He would come up the hill following Leon being careful to stay out of my Grandma's garden. He was always talking and laughting and smiling. I had not seen JD in a long time but when my mother passed away there he was along with Leon. He was talking as usual and laughting and smiling. What a nice young man he had become.
