Sorry to hear of Francis daughter passing. Brenda Dutton Nelson
She was very good friend to My wife Jackie Rozell and myself. we went by and picked her and took her to church. Very lovely lady, we will miss you. A Rozell
I had the pleasure of caring for Evy for the last couple of years in her home. She was always polite and witty. I enjoyed being around her! I will miss you. May you Rest In Peace and Love.
I knew Evy when she was music director at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church. She was the choir and handbell director. Evy was a special person who was so patient and wanted to share her love of choral and handbell music. Prayers for her family. Jane Ferguson
As one of her surviving nieces, I will never forget how much my cousins and I would always want her to make us "gargle peanut butter." She would turn us upside down and hold us by the legs while tickling our stomachs and telling us to gargle peanut butter. She was always so much fun and I will never forget her laugh and her playful side. She always seemed to find joy in virtually any situation. She adored her parents and every one of her sisters and their families. I have so many memories of working on my grandparent's farm with her - herding the cows for milking, helping with gathering eggs, fruits and vegetables, canning, eating as much as we picked sometimes, and her annual contribution to the family holiday festivities - sausage balls. Although I haven't been able to see her for many years now, she will always hold a very special place in my heart and memories.
“The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’ Matthew 25:23 NLT
I so loved spending time with Evy when I came to Arkansas for events. She was full of life and ideas. My sympathies to her family for their great loss.

The English handbell ringers of Arkansas have lost one of the pioneers of handbell ringing in Arkansas. Evy was a leader in the Arkansas chapter of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, which became the Handbell Musicians of America for the past 40 years. She inspired many ringers with her enthusiasm and love of handbell ringing. She will be missed.
