Francisca T. Padilla's Obituary
Ms. Francisca T. Padilla, 66 of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away on Friday, October 14, 2005 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 4, 1939 in Puerto Rico. Ms. Padilla moved to El Dorado, Arkansas, in 1983, where she was a Spanish teacher at El Dorado High School. In 1993, she moved to Northwest Arkansas where she taught Spanish for 9 years. Ms. Padilla, known by many as "Panchy", retired from Springdale High School in 2002. She is a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
Ms. Padilla is survived by three daughters; Frances Bauman and husband Gregg of the home, Virmarie DePoyster and husband David of North Little Rock, AR, Rhode Wright and husband Rob of Springdale, AR, and six grandchildren; Caroline and Wilson Bauman, Grant and Anna DePoyster, and Roman and Dalton Wright.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, October 17, 2005 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held on 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in the Wesley Chapel of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with Reverend Steve Pulliam officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
