The times that I was around him when I was a little girl were sweet memories. He was part of my growing up years, and I will always cherish that period in life.

We were sorry to hear of Otha's passing but know he is in better place. We were not able to make it to funeral. Junior is having health problems. God bless and keep you in this time of sorrow.

Otha leaves quite a legacy.
My memories go back to childhood, from the salvage yard to church. And it is special when our dad's and grandfather's friendship continued with our own generation.
I just found out last evening, so I was unable to make the service, but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

What a gentle giant of a man he was. He was my pastor and he was there on my wedding day and he was there on my 25th wedding anniversary...........sweet, sweet memories and it's sweeter having had him be a part of those highlights in my life.
I'm so glad that he and you his family have been a part of my life.
Over the years since I first heard Bro. Otha preach at Upper Smyrna Church in Huntsville. till the last time He ministered for us at the Fritts cemetery, he was a great man of God. He stood fast in the faith of Jesus Christ as his Savior. To the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you, but we know that he is at peace basking in the presence of the Lord, waiting for the home coming for us all. May God bless and keep you in His presence, comfort that only He can give, may it abide with you.
