Gerald Dwayne Abram's Obituary
Gerald Dwayne Abram of Bentonville passed away October 21, 2020. Born July 13, 1933, Jerry was the youngest of nine children born to William and Eva Abram. In 1954, Jerry married Mary Towell, and they share four children, nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Following a twenty-year Air Force career, the family moved to Bentonville in 1973 to raise their family.
Jerry was loved by all who knew him. His sincere smile and deep faith helped lift, encourage, and bless the lives of many people. He dedicated his life to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through unwavering service to others and by his exemplary life. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in numerous teaching and leadership roles.
Jerry’s beloved Mary was with him at home when he peacefully departed to reunite with family who had gone on before him. Immediate family members preceding Jerry in death include his parents, five brothers, three sisters, and a daughter, Rhonda.
Services for Jerry will be held October 28 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1101 McCollum Drive, Bentonville. There will be a visitation beginning at 10:00am, followed by a memorial service at 12noon. All are welcome to attend.
