Harriett Elizabeth Lindsay passed away peacefully with her family by her side, in Fayetteville, AR, on May 23, 2006. She was 92 years old. Harriett was born on a farm near Belton, Missouri, February 6, 1914. Her mother was a Read Obituary
My Dad use the work with Harriett at KHOZ and the Twin Lakes Cable. Dad started working for Bob Wheeler in around 1949 or 1950 before Mom and Dad got married so I have known Harriett all my life. She was such a wonderful person and always had a smile on her face. We are all blessed just to have known her and been a part of her life and had her in ours.

I was sorry to hear from Mom and read in the paper about your mother. She was such a sweet, wonderful woman. I remember when we lived on Cherry Street near you. Mostly I remember in later years what a good fried she was to my grandmother Myrtle Stockton. Grandma loved Harriett very much!

Dennis and Harriett, In reading over all the other wonderful tributes written for your mother, I have to agree they captured her personality. She will always be remembered for her very generous and caring nature and infectious laughter. As I reflect on her life, there is a smile on my face. You were blessed to have had such a loving mother.

We are so sorry to hear about your lose. However, you have the knowledge that your mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, is now in a better place. No more pain and suffering. She is now at peace, and with all of her family and friends who had gone before her.

Mrs. Lindsay was a wonderful, loving, caring and strong lady. I had known her since I was 12 as a friend of her daughter, Harriett Ann. She always welcomed us into her home, no matter how late or how loud we all were (her daughter?s friends). I remember her lovingly, as she worked at her office and ran it like a battleship, as she cooked at home and laughed with us as we giggled, and as she offered encouragement and advice as we all grew into adulthood. We were so blessed to have had her and her daughter and dad in our lives and she will be greatly missed. Carolyn
So sorry to hear of the loss of your precious mother, Harriett. Actually, Randy just called and told me. We have loved you, your mother and your father. Your father was a good friend of my fathers, and your mother - she has always been a friend - always the same -sweet and kind. She will truly be missed by so many. Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I never meant your mother. However, she sounded like the type of lady whom you will never forget. I'm blessed in the fact of having her wonderful daughter as a good friend. Blessings to you.
