Hank and I were part of a group of friends growing up in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts. He was extremely popular and a natural leader, acting as spark plug for numerous parties, ski trips, and other get-togethers. An especially fond memory is of his and Jean's wedding in the wooded yard of my parents' home, at which I sang a Cat Stevens song as they walked down the grassy aisle. Hank (as well as his father, mother, and Dare) was an integral part of my formative years, and I will carry his memory with me. Sincere condolences to his family, most especially Jean, and to all of Hank's widespread friends.
Dear Jean, Dare and Euler family and friends..Hank was my BEST FRIEND my senior year ( his junior year) at Williams High School in Stockbridge. He was a truly top-notch, fine individual. We worked together in the kitchen of the Red Lion Inn the Summer of 1964. I visited Hank in Dover, NH in the mid-1960's..We went antique bottle collecting..Still ahve the two bottles. Hank was a important part of my wedding party in 1974 along with my brother and my best friend from college. For a while we kept in touch visiting with Jean and Hank on Long Island or welcoming a visit from them to our cottage in Stockbridge in the mid-1970's. I was a lousy skier, but they took me out skiing and were very patient with this amateur skier back then.
Dealing with serious illness myself, I have been reaching out to connect with long lost or absent friends..people who were dear to me. I did a Google Search and discovered that Hank passed on March 15th....just last month. Although I've not spoken to Hank in decades, I shall never forget my memories and my caring for him. I am both smiling as I look at his photo and deeply sad. I sincerely hope that Hank and I get to reconnect in the presence of the The Lord. His room was ready when he arrived on March 15 and what a beautiful room it must be. We will miss him for now but we hold tight to the promise that we will meet again. Jean, praying for strength and comfort for you. What a beautiful life you two lived. ❤️

Hank was a generous spirit with the kindest of hearts. He mowed my lawn for over 14 years. That’s how I met him. A few days after I moved in I heard the sounds of activity in the front yard. I walked out to find a stranger mowing my lawn. He said, “Hi, I’m your neighbor Hank. I always did this for Mrs. Parks and I’ll do it for you too.” And he did! His was a life well lived and he will be missed.
