Jack E. Nolan's Obituary
Jack E. Nolan, Jr. 73, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Springdale.
He was born June 4, 1938 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Jack E. and Imagine Millard Nolan.
He retired after twenty-one years of service from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant. After retirement, he was employed by Skyways Airlines, Air Midwest, and the University of Arkansas in Research and Sponsored Programs.
He was an avid fisherman, bowler and hunter.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Patricia Kaczinski and Jeannie Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Jones Nolan; two sons: Col. Richard Nolan and wife Michelle of Los Angeles, California and Keith Nolan and wife Lisa of Rogers, Arkansas; and five grandchildren: Ryan Nolan, Mara Nolan, Jacob Nolan, Nathan Nolan and Zachary Nolan.
Visitation will be Friday 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Moore’s Chapel with burial at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home.
