James H. Stewart's Obituary
James H. Stewart, age 55, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully Saturday March 28, 2015.
He was born October 4, 1959 in Fayetteville to John and Billie Jones Stewart.
1978 graduate of Fayetteville High School where he served as student council president. He was a member of the track, speech and debate teams, Thespians and Yearbook Committee.
He graduated from UCLA magna cum laude.
Over the years he worked in retail as a buyer for Macy's and May's Department Stores in Los Angeles, Miami and New York. He currently was working at JC Penney in Fayetteville.
After moving back to Fayetteville, he volunteered at St. Paul's Episcopal Church where he attended church and 7Hills Homeless Center in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his brother in law, Richard Damiani.
He is survived by his parents Billie Jones Stewart and John H. Stewart; one sister Mary Stewart Damiani of West Brandywine, Pennsylvania; brother, Bobby S. Stewart of Fayetteville; Aunts, Carolyn Trammell and Virginia Clevenger; his uncle, John Jones, four nephews Joseph Damiani, Michael Damiani, Nicholas Damiani, John Damiani; friends, Scott Campbell, Marty Hall, Tyler Shen, Dalton Holt and Debbie Slape.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday April 1, 2015 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday at Moore’s Chapel with burial in Cross Roads Cemetery in Deer, Arkansas under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
