James L Meek's Obituary
James L. Meek, Ph.D., age 81, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019. He was born April 10, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a mathematics professor with the University of Arkansas for 49 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Elizabeth Jean Meek. He is survived by his wife Barbara; one daughter, Angela Crawford and her husband Mike of Fayetteville; three sons, Mike Meek and his wife Carolyn of Corvallis, Oregon, Pat Meek and his wife Diane of Fayetteville, Fred Meek and his wife Kerri of Fayetteville; one brother, Robert Meek and his wife Jan of Tigard, Oregon; two grandchildren, Justin Meek and Kaylee Meek.
Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 25, 2019 at Moore’s Chapel.
