Cara, Allen and Sam, My hear is breaking right now, I just heard of Jerry's passing. He was one of my most favorite humans. Working on engineering homework late at night. Spending all that time together and of course Best Man at my wedding. I love and miss all of you.
Condolences from the Foster family to the Hartfield family. Rest in love and peace my friend.
Our family has been blessed to know Jerry from the lake. A man that was always full of energy, joy, and lived life to the fullest. Jerry's amazing laugh and smile will always be remembered along with his bag throwing abilities. Jerry thank you and Cara for a lot of great memories that we will never forget.

Cara and family, My heart broke when my dad told me of Jerry's passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you celebrate and honor his full life at tomorrow's services. I hope that each photo and story shared provide some healing in the midst of this great loss. Respectfully, Melissa (Brannan) Layne
I remember meeting Jerry his first weekend serving with the 96th APS (Reserves) as i in processed him to our unit. Over the years myself and my husband got to know Jerry well. He was one of the kindest, professional, funny individuals we had to the honor to serve with for many years. You become family to each other. It is with extreme sadness that it is time to say goodbye. God bless and comfort Jerry’s family and the many friends who all will miss him.
I am saddened to learn of Jerry's passing. He was an exception man with an obvious kind-sincere heart. I was blessed to know him and serve our country along side him as a fellow member of the 96th APS. My prayers are for peace and strength for his wonderful family and friends.
To the Hartfield’s. In the years we were lucky enough to know Jerry it was obvious he lived life to the fullest and loved his family very much. Many laughs at the lake have been shared. He sure loved your deviled eggs Cara!
When you think of Jerry he will always bring a smile to your face.
