He was such a strong and outgoing person. Brought success to whatever he was doing and gave those around him the drive and potential to be their best. This world is less without him.
Bobbye and I volunteered with Jerry and MariAnne at the Walton Arts Center. We were so sad to hear of Jerry's passing. Working with Jerry and MariAnne and various events was always fun and Jerry always had a smile. Sending hugs and prayers to MariAnne and the whole family. Jerry will definitely be missed.
Our memories of Jerry span over many years.
We spent time together the USA, China and when Jerry and MariAnne visited us in Australia.
We had a fabulous time visiting them at the lake last July.
Jerry was my second cousin but he made me feel like a brother.
He was a remarkable man always thinking of others.
We share the same birthday and have a lot in common.
Sending our love and condolences to MariAnne and all his family.
The world will not be the same without him.
Always Remembered.

Jerry, a Renaissance man in the true sense of the term, possessed a knowledge and skill base that spanned a wide range of areas from engineering to science to nature and so much more...all the way to classic rock. While Jerry's ability to make and fix anything or to logically problem solve the most complex issues was quite remarkable, his most impressive characteristic was his gentle kindness. He was always willing to help, no matter the need. A true gentleman and a great neighbor. We will miss him.

We were so lucky to have Jerry as our neighbor and friend at Beaver Lake. An evening with Jerry and MariAnne always meant good food, great company and fun. We were a little in awe of all the things Jerry knew how to do so well. He made the water sports he loved look so easy. He was so generous with his help and time and seemed to have the right tools for just about any project. He and MariAnne taught both our sons how to surf behind their boat when they were here visiting, a cherished memory for our family. When Phil dropped his phone in the lake, Jerry was there in 20 minutes with full scuba gear and found it on the second dive. Now that's a good lake friend. We were blessed to know him. Our love and sincere sympathy are with MariAnne and family.

Jerry was a great guy who I enjoyed many hours with while he worked at Modine in Racine. He ran the manufacturing plants and I ran Engineering which always led to interesting conversations. He had a great sense of humor and significant insights into our business. Was truly sorry to hear he had passed. My sincere condolences to the family. Mike Best
