Dr. Story was one of my all-time favorite professors - so thought-provoking, kind, supportive, and witty. The world has lost a good man.
I just learned of John's death. I am so sorry...he was a wonderful man.
To the family of Dr. Story- I am so sorry for your loss! I had Dr. Story for 7am microbiology at NWACC in the fall of 2009! I remember dreading going to his class so early in the morning, but once I got there, he always made those little microbes so so interesting! He also had many stories to tell and actually made micro fun! He encouraged me and many other students to never stop learning. I am among many who were so blessed to have him as our teacher and he will definitely be missed.
You are all in my prayers! Dr. Story was a great teacher and man. He will be greatly missed.
I was a student of Dr. Story's and he was a truly wonderful man. I am very sorry for your loss and may God be with you.
Dr. Story was a special kind of human being and will be dearly missed. He inspired me to learn and explore beyond memorizing. I will continue to do so throughout my academic career, as a tribute to him My thoughts and prayers are with you, the family that he spoke of so dearly.
God Bless You!
NWACC will not be the same.
Dear Mrs. Story and Jonathan,
My name is Greg Siragusa, you probably do not know me but I knew John through my doctoral research at the UofA in about 1987 or so. He provided me with a great facility at his lab in Farmington while he was still with Campbells. I remember John and a fine gentleman and scientist. He had great impact while on this earth. I am sorry for your loss. May God bless you.
Grant him eternal rest oh Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
Sincerely,
Greg Siragusa
