Dr. Story was one of my all-time favorite professors - so thought-provoking, kind, supportive, and witty. The world has lost a good man.
I just learned of John's death. I am so sorry...he was a wonderful man.
To the family of Dr. Story- I am so sorry for your loss! I had Dr. Story for 7am microbiology at NWACC in the fall of 2009! I remember dreading going to his class so early in the morning, but once I got there, he always made those little microbes so so interesting! He also had many stories to tell and actually made micro fun! He encouraged me and many other students to never stop learning. I am among many who were so blessed to have him as our teacher and he will definitely be missed.
You are all in my prayers! Dr. Story was a great teacher and man. He will be greatly missed.
I was a student of Dr. Story's and he was a truly wonderful man. I am very sorry for your loss and may God be with you.
Dr. Story was a special kind of human being and will be dearly missed. He inspired me to learn and explore beyond memorizing. I will continue to do so throughout my academic career, as a tribute to him My thoughts and prayers are with you, the family that he spoke of so dearly.
God Bless You!
Dr Story was my favorite professor and a good friend. I miss his smile & friendly laugh. He made a big impression on me & my life choices. I love and miss the man.
I am deeply saddened by your loss. I had John as an instructor this summer. Dr. Story was one of the best instructors I have had in college. But what I came here to say was that he talked about his family all the time in class and he was so proud of his family. You will all be in my families thoughts and prayers.
He was a very friendly, pleasant man that enjoyed seeing Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this past Spring. He will be missed by many.
