My Great Uncle John was one of the most honest individuals that I have ever been associated with. In the dictionary, his name should appear in the description of integrity.
My Father, now deceased, was blessed with John's middle name. There were many summers and days spent with my uncle fishing on Beaver Lake. During that time we would discuss family, right and wrong. Most of all, I listened and was grateful to have someone that took the time to spend with me.
Uncle John believed that there was good in all men and seemed to always lend a helping hand. There is no doubt in my heart, soul and breath, that he is with his loved ones with Jesus.
God Thank You for allowing me to have the opportunity to have such a great Uncle and Friend.
Rest in Peace.

There are many fond memories of traveling from Iowa to Arkansas to visit with Uncle John & Aunt Gladys. And then if we traveled together to visit my grandparents in Oklahoma, it was even more special - cuz I got to ride with Johnny & Gladys!! There was the time when my dad and Uncle John 'helped' me make biscuits in grandma's kitchen. They had their mother laughing so hard, she had tears streaming down her face!! Needless to say, the dough went to the chickens. Thanks Uncle John for all the memories!!!

Uncle Johnny was a story teller (he had many hours of stories to tell) and I always will remember him talking about "this good 'ol boy" or "that good 'ol boy". He is loved and will be missed.

For our family members that have passed, another fishing buddy has joined in the and they are all celebrating.
