I had the good fortune of meeting Carol my freshmen year in undergraduate school. We became fast friends and roommates that year. Carol always had a very quick wit and could make me laugh no matter the situation or circumstance. She was a steadfast and devoted friend and we saw each other through many seasons of life. I will miss her compassion, humor and abiding friendship. She was a one in a million friend and human being. Despite her own health challenges she never lost her sense of humor and devotion to her precious family whom she loved with the whole of her heart. I will miss all that Carol was forevermore. My sincere condolences to her family and friends who adored her.
