While I did not know Kathleen well, I did know Ned well. He helped get me started in the PR world.

I just found my notes from his classes, and from our involvement in PRSSA. In it was a copy of a speech by Ned to the Michigan IABC on the future of PR, which I can make available.

I knew of his passing, and received a very warm and touching note from Katie when I expressed my condolences.

I am very interested in putting together a tribute to Ned's contributions to the PR world, who's made a difference to so many people. If anybody has any biographic material or anecdotes, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you - [email protected].

Dear Susan, Gary and Ken, I was saddened to hear of your mother's passing. It was a privilege to have her work for me as office manager. She delighted in bringing some "class" to the office. Katie was a great lady and a special friend during her time in Lansing. I am sorry we had lost touch the last couple of years and so sorry to hear of her passing. She is now with her Ned where she would want to be.

I knew your Mom and Dad when they lived in the apartment over the garage on Lincoln Ave. and Elk St.in Port Huron, MI. I was about 10 years old at that time. They were both wonderful people that were always welcoming and fun to be with. I lived on Elk St with my family ( Julia O'Hara) and would come over and help Katie by playing with the "boys".

Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. I know this is a sorrowful time for each of you. May Christ be with you as you accept your Mom's death.
