Keely French Jones' Obituary
Keely French Jones, 57, of Bella Vista, AR passed away August 20,2022. She was born in St Louis, MO on November 3, 1964
Her family also lived in Bellvue, WA and in Memphis, TN where she lived for 15 years making many friends and memories. The family moved to Broken Arrow, OK the summer before her Senior year to Broken Arrow, OK
On October 2, 1989, she went out with her friend Marcus.
On December 9, 1989, the then best friends became one.
She spent most of her career working in Payroll and Accounting positions and as an Administrative Assistant. It was in that capacity she worked for 18 years at the Arkansas Democrat Gazette / NWA Media before retiring in July 2021.
She was a voracious reader throughout her life. She enjoyed rubber stamp and card making crafts.
She excelled at Genealogy researching on her family history, then whomever wanted her help finding their roots for them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marilyn French of Rogers, AR, Grandparents; Arch O and Eugenia French of Dumas, AR; Marvin and Mary L Kirby of Rogers, AR.; A.O. and Corynn French of Dumas, AR; Billy Bert and Connie French of Star City, AR; Phil and Wanda Pierce of Rogers; David A French of Dumas, AR; Tanya M French of Dumas, AR; Debra K Pierce of Springfield, MO; David R Pierce of Villa Rica, GA.
She is survived by her husband Marcus in Bella Vista, AR, where they had moved to their dream home.
She is also survived by her brother John (Jil) French of Rogers, AR, as well as several cousins, Arlynn (Greg) Rector of Fayetteville, AR; Tracy (Rita) French of Cabot, AR; Debra (Junior) Smith of Fayetteville, AR; Jennifer (Keith) Griffin of Star City, AR; Ashley (Drew) Steed of Star City; Doug Pierce of Benton, KS; David (Pamela) Pierce of Pflugerville, TX.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Rogers, Arkansas. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Rogers Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Keely’s honor may be made to your local no-kill animal shelter.
