So sorry I'm just now hearing of Layne's passing. I so enjoyed him. I used to see him at Power House on a regular basis, but lost touch. I've often thought about him, but didn't know how to get in touch. I miss seeing him and sharing funny stories.
Layne was not just another person in a world of millions, he was a very special person. My causin loved with all his heart and wanted to help everyone. I just recently started to reconnect with him through facebook and enjoyed our conversations. I will mis him and the opportunity of us becoming better acquainted.
I met Layne when we were babies. Our dads worked together at the Airport at Drake field in Fayetteville. We grew up going to company picnics together. Our dad's also started a business together when we were little. We lost touch after Frontier closed their door, but reconnected when we were both working at the same airport in our 20's. He was a sweet friend. My condolences to the family and all of his friends.
Layne will be missed by all that knew him. He was one of the kindest sweetest people I've ever known.
Layne was a great friend and played a tremendous role in me being where I am today. He was kind, loving and supportive. This is a deep pain for anyone that knew him.
