Layne Eric Caudle's Obituary
Layne Eric Caudle, of Fayetteville was met by his parents Delford and Barbara Caudle and was embraced by their loving arms as he left his life here on earth that began on January 9, 1971 for his eternal journey on Friday, August 11, 2017. He was a graduate of Greenland High School and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Austin, TX; he also studied English and Political Science at the U of A. He will be remembered for his passion for cooking and politics. He was a kind, generous, funny, compassionate man and his love for family and friends was unmatched. Layne spent numerous hours showing his love for others through his talent of cooking. He possessed an unmatched ability to tantalize the taste buds with even the simplest of ingredients. This sums up the way Layne viewed mankind. No one person was unimportant to him. Each and every person was an important ingredient in his life. He didn't see a person for what they were labeled. He saw them for what was inside and as an essential ingredient in the recipe for life. And he knew that without each ingredient, life wouldn't be as rich. He is preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Oral and Emma Hughes, paternal grandparents Eli and Dessie Caudle, his brother-in-law Phillip Kesner and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his brother, Jeff Caudle; sisters Deanna Caudle Kesner, Dawn Caudle Hellard and her husband Bill, all of Fayetteville, Rhonda Caudle Giles and her husband Mark of Austin, TX. His very best friend, Tricia Heckathorn of Lowell and her parents Don & Janet Heckathorn of Fayetteville, otherwise known as dad2 and mom2. Aunts Velma Byrum of West Fork, Sondra Cuff of Mulberry, Ruth Hughes of Farmington and Oleta Wilson of Phoenix, AZ. Several nieces, nephews and numerous friends and cousins. Memorial service for Layne will be Tuesday, August 15, at 2:00 PM at Moore’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas. A celebration of Layne’s life will take place at Powerhouse Seafood in Fayetteville on Tuesday evening, August 15, from 6:00PM to 9:00PM.
