My deepest sympathies to the family of Bea Guthrie. We were co-grandmothers for thirty-five years to three wonderful and much loved grandchildren and we shared great-grandmother love with four adorable great- grandchildren. Bea was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love and faith enriched the lives of many family members. I especially appreciated her messages of faith and hope posted on Facebook regularly.
To Barbara, Rick and Walt: you have my sympathy on such a great loss. To the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters and nieces and friends: your loss is heaven's gain. May her beautiful memory always be a blessing.

One of my first thoughts when I heard of Bea’s passing was that she is with Bill. She and I would walk our dogs together in the afternoons, and she would tell me stories of their courtship and the different places they lived. She never failed to tell me, “I love you” when we parted ways after walking our dogs. She was a precious friend. I love you, too, Bea.
All of heaven rejoiced when Bea arrived. Jesus had to say, Well done my faithful servant. She loved her Lord and we loved her because she loved Jesus and lived her life for Him. I took Bea to City View Church the first day it opened off Joyce Blvd and she fell in love with it. Mike and Holly Caldwell and the whole congregation were such loving and friendly people. She had found her happy place to serve God. God answered Bea's prayer for a church that taught the word and sang the good old hymns. I will miss my dear friend Bea until I see her again in heaven. She left her family and friends many wonderful memories to get us through this tough time. Please know that I am praying for your family to have the Love of God bestowed on you for His peace and comfort during the coming days and months ahead. May God bless you all. Much love!!!

I met Miss Bea at CaptiView Baptist, She always ask about my great grandson, she said she would pray for him. She passed away before I could tell her that he had received the heart in order to live. Her prayers were answered. I am so thankful for Miss Bea and her prayers.
Mrs. Bea often would tell her church family that we were God's answers to her prayers. Well, she was an answer to ours and we are blessed to have had her in our lives! Heaven is even sweeter because she is there with the Savior waiting on us. God bless Bea's wonderful family!
