I'm sad to hear of Leo's death. Although I had lost contact with him, he was part of my development at Arkansas Power and Light Co. I worked for him in the training section sometime around the 1969-1971 timeframe. At that time linemen went through a four year journeyman program, which I primarily coordinated. We also trained supervisors throughout the company. He became a friend to me as well as my boss. We worked well together and I always admired and appreciated him.

Tomme and family, my deepest sympathy to all of you in the loss of Leo. I really enjoyed the visits we had with you and Leo when we were in Fayetteville several times when I was able to travel. You have my love and please stay in touch. Martha Jo
Sorry to learn of the death of Leo. I worked with Leo at AP&L/Entergy for many years. A special individual and friend. Our prayers go out for all the family during this sad time. May God bless each and every one.
Leo hired me at AP&L in 1973. Although I was fresh out of college, he always treated me with the upmost respect and care. I stayed in touch with him through his Forrest City days. Now I find out we are going to the same Church and I did not know that. Thanks Leo for your friendship and help in my career.

I remember working with Leo at Entergy. He was one of the most caring and easy people to work with you could imagine. Rest in love and peace Leo. Condolences to your family.
Like my cousins Scott and Kelly, I, too, have memories of Uncle Leo and Aunt Tomme. The first wedding I ever attended was theirs when I was maybe 5 years old. I had stars in my eyes from Aunt Tomme, so beautiful in her wedding dress and for Uncle Leo, with his then very dark hair, waiting for her at the alter. I also remember being at their house, especially playing with Bart and Don on their fabulous and huge train set in the basement, a tribute I'm sure to Uncle Leo's engineering expertise. So many are gone now...Aunt Gladys, Uncle Barton, Aunt Johny, Aunt Toots, my grandfather known to others as Uncle Buddy and my grandmother (Aunt BB), Cousin Wally and beautiful Kathleen, Cousin Shannon, Aunt Billie and Uncle Rod, many others, and now Uncle Leo. They may be gone, but they are not forgotten, and we owe them so much for making us the people we are today. Our deepest sympathy to Aunt Tomme, Bart, Don, wives, and grandchildren for the loss of Uncle Leo. Please know he was a very significant link in a stable and loving family chain that gave and gives all of us so much, and we are grateful for him. Jan Rider and my mother, Jerry Rider
