Leroy Oscar Storaasli's Obituary
Leroy Oscar Storaasli, 84 of Springdale, AR passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Springdale, Arkansas from metastatic prostate cancer due to exposure to Agent Orange in the Viet Nam war. He was born July 27, 1937 in Plentywood, Montana to Oscar Storaasli and Eleanor Leader Storaasli.
Leroy attended public school in Plentywood, Montana, and completed his college education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management at Pepperdine University, Malibu, California 1986. He retired from the Navy, July 1976 as Lt. Commander, and later retired from Commercial Real Estate Management in 1996.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marjorie Eleanor Watkins, and his daughter, Rhonda June Storaasli.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Peggy Storaasli, three sons, Leroy Allen Storaasli of San Diego, Randall Keith Storaasli of San Diego, Daniel Robert Storaasli of San Diego, one step-daughter, Mickee Lynn Black of Menifee, CA, three grandchildren, Rebecca Ashlock Storaasli, Leroy George Storaasli , Alessandro Tamayo, two step-grandchildren, Tishmal Calac and Joshua Malak, nine great grandchildren, Scotty, Jacob, Johnathon Ashlock, Jaxston Murray, Leroy Angel, Layla Storaasli, Sydnee, Coral, Noah Tamayo and two great-great grandchildren, Lorenzo and Ariella Storaasli.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Fayetteville National Cemetery at 1:30 PM on May, 16, 2022.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and Circle of Life Hospice.
