Lindy, thanks for the memories
Warm memories of Lindy from when we were both deaconesses at Immanuel. I was Sister Ruth Kauffman at that time. Lindy also came to visit me when I was in the hospital in Duluth 12 years ago.
Lindy was probably the most dignified woman I have ever had the privilage to know and work with.
She will be sadly missed by all she ever came in contact with.
We are sorry to hear of Lindy's passing. Our sympathy to Joyce Lund, (who introduced us to Lindy) and Lindy's family.
May she rest in peace!
Joyce and Family -
You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
This poem is one I've often gone to in times like these:
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die
We are here for too brief a time...Joyce I feel fortunate to have seen you and Lindy at my dad amd Rory's not long ago. You both looked so happy.
Thinking of you!
Joyce, Leroy & Alice-
Those whom we have loved, really never leave us. They live on forever in our hearts. Sending you love and strength and prayers and wishing we could be with you in person at this difficult time. We will always remember and cherish our time with Lindy.
