A real man! A man of faith who always had a smile. Gentle. I was so sorry to read of Brown passing. I wish I could attend the service.
When we reflect upon the life of our brother Brown, what comes to our mind is story of the Walk to Emmaus. We reflect upon how impactful it was to not only share our life together, but to experience God with him through prayer, fellowship and the revelation of His goodness.
How can you begin to describe what it is like to watch a man transform into the likeness of Christ? Brown was a man who loved to worship the Lord, loved the word but above it all, he loved to pray and seek His face. His prayers always seemed to find their way right up to the Throne of Heaven as he expressed his faith that the Father heard every word. Like all professional architects, he did everything in a spirit of excellence and in a way, it was like he was helping to create heaven on earth.
In honor of Brown's life, we want to present what we believe was one of his more favorite scriptures which he referenced time and time again as he believed that the Lord would send revival and awakening to the church:
" This is what the sovereign Lord says: Come from the four winds, O breath and breathe into these slain that they may live. So I prophesied as that they my live. So I prophesied as he commanded me and breath entered them: they came to life and stood up on their feet, a vast army " Ezekiel 37:10
Well done good and faithful servant!
We love your Brown!
The Collins Family
For nearly 15 years Brown spent saturdays with us first cutting wood and then delivering wood to our dear friend Sofia for her wood burning stove. His love off Christ shone through in all he did whether through his prayers, his love and concern for others and his deep faith as he fought his health battles. He was a very special person, friend, husband and father. Prayers to Therese and the family.
Brown was a dear friend in my years at Benchmark. It may be said that he truly loved the Lord.
I remember the first time Brown came to our house in Little Rock (Larry and Carol Crain Pendleton) he had a new girlfriend with him.
They had been to a Razorback game
.The girl was his future wife, Therese !!
It was quite an evening. Over the years the 4 of us had some interesting times.
I always enjoyed my conversations with Brown. Plus Therese and I had a lot of “girl talk” over the phone, her house and my house..
Brown was wonderful after Larry died almost 6 years ago. He helped me through some the family paper work that kept coming around.
Brown was kind, smart and Fun with all the kids. He was a man that loved God and now he is with God and healed from his disease and pain. Love you Brown go play some golf with Larry ❤️🙏
