Being the oldest cousin in the family I have a lot of fond memories for both my uncle Fred and Aunt Louise. What I remember the most is the great sense of humor she had, and her great laugh. Whenever we all got together we had lots of laughs and fun times. My Dad would always tease Louise and she would give it right back to him. After Louise and Fred were married at my Mom and Dad's house in California, Fred was in there with the same great sense of humor. Our family get-together's were always a lot of fun, and very noisy. After Louise and Fred and the family moved to Arkansas it was always fun time to get together and enjoy each other's company and was something I always looked forward to.I am only sorry I have not made the trip back to Arkansas for some time now, but I will always have those fun and fond memories. It is comforting to know that both Fred and Louise are together again in the Lords house.

I never had the privilege of meeting Louise, however I feel her acquaintance and the loss of her passing through her daughter, Christine. What an incredible woman she was. She must have been a real special lady to have raised her wonderful children to be outstanding as they are. I also knew Kirk, and now it is comforting to know that they are together in heaven. The Lord says that he gathers his beloved to their people. Nothing I could say here can ease the pain of loss, but I pray this offers a small amount of comfort to know that Louise Margaret Beeson Morell has left her footprint in the earth; a legacy of love, kindness, dignity, and so much more. I especially love her organizational skills that Christine mentioned. We may be saying " so long" for now, but we will see her again on that great and glorious day!

I can say many good things about my mother, but the things that stick out the most are what a hard working, patriotic, organized person she was. Going through her things after she passed showed how much she loved her immediate and extended family and friends. She kept every letter, photograph, card and thank you note that was ever sent her. Her mind was amazing up to the very end. When she was young, instead of going to college to get some high powered career she ended up having five children - almost one right after another. Sometimes in life we don't always go down an intended path, but the Good Book says that God orders our steps. I know my godly grandparents were praying for her and all of us. She, along with my step-father, Fred Morell, Sr., will be laid to rest at the foot of her earthly father's grave at Cloverdale Cemetery in Boise, Idaho, on August 5, 2017. A memorial service will precede at the Warhawk Air Museum, in Nampa, Idaho at 11:30 am on that day also. Hope you all can come and be a part of that ceremony. If not, please leave a note here. We would greatly appreciate that. We love you Mom, like you said, our family had our bumps in life as every family does - but we came through loving each other. Mom's generation was truly "the greatest generation". Mom's stories of the sacrifices she and her family, neighbors and the country went through the early 40's to support the troops was inspiring and carried through to our upbringing I don't think that level of commitment would be there today if needed.
