She graduated from Springdale High School and was a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Springdale. Upon graduation, Lucille married the late Walter Croft and they remained residents of Springdale. Several years following Walter’s death, Lucille moved to Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville to make that her “last corral”, where she lived for 7+ years. Lucille is survived by her four children: Carolyn Clary of Pangburn, AR; Marolyn Fields of Louisville, KY; and the twins, William C. Croft of Eureka Springs, AR, and Robert W. Lucille was a lifelong homemaker and was known for her cooking and sewing ability. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed painting, quilting, knitting and needlework. The residents and staff of Butterfield Trail Village became Lucille’s new family and community. She continually expressed her happiness there and her appreciation for the CNAs, the nursing staff, the dining/activities staff and the maintenance/landscaping crews (with whom she shared her chocolates).
