Ms Dockery was a wonderful lady! I enjoyed our time together at Bates! She always had love and patience for children. She was more than a teacher to her kids. You will be missed my friend!

Lynda, Your friendship and educational benifits meant the world to so many and I thank you for being a friend to my sister in Heaven,Jane Elliott Scott. One of your many classmate, Deborah Elliott Henson
I worked with Lynda and Meredy at Jefferson. Lynda was such a lovely soul and I know she has a heavenly home waiting for her. Much love to the Dockerys from the O'Mara family.
When I think of Aunt Lynda, my first thought is of her smile. She was always smiling and always so happy. She loved being with her family, especially all of her nephews and nieces. She knew every one by name and sent birthday cards to each one and knew all about their lives. She was the favorite aunt of everyone.
And my second thought is always of her elephants of course!
Her kindness, her giving me a ride to Green Valley Bible Camp one summer, we sang songs and she talked to me as if everything I said was the most important thing she had ever heard. She got kids, and we loved her for it.
