Ms. Marilyn was a pillar of Haas and her legacy will be carried by all the students she taught and mentored. Her sense of humor and care for students will be remembered by many.
Marilyn was a lovely neighbor and friend. She will be Missed greatly.
Mrs.Schoppmeyer was always such an advocate for students. When my daughter started Haas Hall she was there for us as we navigated the new school and academic structure. Her door was always open to any parent or student who needed her attention. I met her when my daughter was not quite two and I told her that she would be a Haas Hall scholar one day. When we showed up at orientation she remembered us. Haas Hall will not be the same without her. Her legacy is in her family of educator and her students. God Bless this family and we ae praying for you in your loss.

Mrs. Schoppmeyer took me under her wing when I moved here at the end of 6th grade. She helped me make friends and encouraged me to step outside my shy self. She was the best person for me to have in my life and I will be eternally grateful. God bless her and her family.
I loved Marilyn Schoppmeyer. She was my sixth grade teacher, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. She was funny, smart, and blunt. She was a role model who helped me decide to become a teacher because she completely threw herself into teaching and her students. All my memories of Marilyn are good ones. I will miss her terribly, but I know she is up there saying, "Bless a duck! I had a great life. Let's celebrate it, not mourn it!"
