Dear Martin, Letty, Barry and the entire Haest family,

When Barry and Maryalice (John's sister) were married, we were fortunate to meet Marty. Although we didn't have a chance to spend a lot of time with him, we know he brought great joy to his family and friends. We had heard from Barry and Maryalice about the strides he was making for those that might not otherwise have a decent place to call home. So sorry to hear of Marty's death. I have very fond memories of our days on "The Farm" spending time riding horses, working in the garden and just enjoying life with Marty around. He loved all the O'Connors and we loved him. He was a strong person who accomplished his dreams. He will be missed by many. My prayer is that God will comfort you during this time of sadness.
