Marvin Lee Janas' Obituary
Marvin Lee Janas, age 79, of Farmington, Arkansas passed away Friday December 5, 2025. He was born August 24, 1946 in Winner, South Dakota to Connie and Amanda Janas. He served in the United States Army and retired after 22 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2007 Judith Janas; his parents and his daughter, Carol Sams.
He is survive by his wife Cheryl Janas; two daughters, Ann Haile and her husband Bruce of Fayetteville and Lisa Strouts and her husband Matt of Fayetteville; one son, Robert Janas and his wife Bonnie of Shiloh, Illinois; Brenda Kibler of Council Bluffs, Iowa; two brothers, Rob Janas and Allen Janas both of North Platte, Nebraska; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday December 10, 2025 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:30 am Thursday at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville with burial to follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
