Mary Condon's Obituary
Mary Louise Condon, 93, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Butterfield Trail Village. She was born in Topaz, Michigan, a daughter of Rudolf G. and Leora Cackles Stindt.
Condon taught both elementary and secondary grades in Topaz, Bergland and Grand Rapids, Michigan. She then taught 33 years i8n the Panama Canal Zone Schools.
She graduated with a B.S. in Education from Northern Michigan College of Education in Marquette, Michigan and with an M.A. degree in the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Mary married Richard G. Condon in 1959. They lived in Margarita Panama Canal Zone and retired to Springdale, Arkansas and the moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas where she
led the Farmer’s Market at Butterfield Trail Village for 13 years. She was a member of the Iris Garden Club, the local chapter of the National Association of Federal Employees (NARFE), and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in Death by her husband, her parents, two brothers and seven sisters. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Bergland, Michigan at a later date.
