I became acquainted with Angeline when she joined our PEO chapter. After our chapter disbanded we kept in contact by going to lunch and talking on the phone. I will always have fond memories of our friendship.

I was one of Aunt Angeline's younger nephews, but I remember her wonderful smile, quick wit, great sense of humor and class. She has a special place in my heart, and I especially remember the strong bond of love and friendship she and Uncle Dale had with my mother and father. How wonderful the friendship between Angeline and my mother grew following the loss of both of their spouses. It was a time of mutual support for both as they would frequently drive from their respective locations in Arkansas to meet halfway for lunch and time together. We share our condolences and take comfort in knowing that Aunt Angeline's faith in Christ touched so many here on earth and carried her into the arms of Jesus in paradise. Thankful for her life and impact on friends and family.

We are very saddened to hear the news of Angeline's passing. My mother, Bonnie Hawkins, was blessed to have Angeline as a friend and her friendship helped my mother endure several hardships. Throughout those times Angeline was a constant companion and bought grace, humor, faith, a gentle and caring smile and good sense to the situation. During Bonnie's last days Angeline was as good a friend and supporter as could have been hoped for. Thank you for all that you did Angeline. Rest in peace sweet lady and godspeed.
For a week in the summer of 2000 June and I visited Dale and Angeline at a mountain retreat they had rented in the Colorado Rockies. We had a delightful time playing pitch and exploring the beautiful mountain scenery. Dale rented a jeep and handed me the keys. I drove the four of us over some very rough and dangerous roads which bounced us up and down and sideways. It was a thrilling ride we'll never forget. This was a happy time in Angeline's life, perhaps the happiest she had ever been. That's how we will remember her. And we will miss her. Ray and June Rowland
