Michael Joseph Hoppe's Obituary
Michael Joseph Hoppe, 55 of Springdale, AR passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 in Fayetteville, AR due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS. He was born November 25, 1954 in Renton, WA to Charles and Micheala (Tierney) Hoppe.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam Era as an aircraft mechanic, an insurance salesman, an entrance examination official for the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, and adult leader of the Boy Scouts of America, and a member of Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
He is survived by his wife; Carolyn (Burke) Hoppe, his parents Charles and Micheala Hoppe of Seattle, WA, two sons; Joseph and Daniel Hoppe of Springdale, AR, and two brothers; Brian and Alan Hoppe, both of Seattle, WA.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, March 8, 2010 at Sequoyah Methodist Church with Reverends Craig Russell and Ken Lee officiating. Burial will be at Tohoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
