Knowing Mildred for many years has been a pure pleasure. I loved the twinkle in her eye. It was so disappointing to arrive at the church for her service today only to find that I had put it down incorrectly on my calendar and it was yesterday. I wanted to be there to express my condolences for this nice, nice lady.
I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I met Mildred & Bill when my husband and I took dance lessons with them back in the olden days. Over the years, we lost touch with each other but we renewed out friendship when Mildred came to have lunch with me here at The Gardens at Arkanshire a few years ago - wonderful memory!
I have been in the Walking Through the Bible Sunday school class with Mildred for many years, and I always enjoyed visiting with her. She will be missed by all of us. Janet Cupit
Mildred was a delightful lady and awonderful hostess. I enjoyed her in Four Seasons Garden Club. She loved decorating her home for the holidays. It was nice to have met Mildred.

Mildred was a powerhouse of energy and accomplishments, always busy and in the middle of a project or task. She was a pleasure to be around and talk to. Her life was a history lesson. She always made me think I was standing still. I will miss her. Mildred, have a safe journey home and a welcomed rest.
