Nancy was a wonderful woman with the most beautiful hair and smile, who quickly welcomed me to the extended Vanlandingham family in 1966. She was a wonderful cook, gardener extraordinaire, morel mushroom hunter (who didn’t share her hunting sites!), talented mandolin player, and also a beautiful quilter. I still have a wedding ring quilt that she made for Tony and me as a shower gift in 1966. She was the best hugger. And she always seemed at home wherever she was and whatever the circumstances.
Her obituary and the video tribute to her was beautifully done and illustrated a life well lived. She will be missed.
