My introduction to Olive was through her daughter Kathy when Kathy and I both had young families. Olive was a wonderful friend, mother and grandmother. Her enthusiasm and joy in life made her a pleasure to be around. She made her meatball soup for me once when I was sick--the recipe with her personal comments was even better than the soup (still have it if anyone would like a copy). To Kathy, Jeannie and Matthew--I read the obituary tonight and shed a few tears, remembering the good times. The last years of her life are not the ones she would want as her legacy; remember the good years and all the love and joy she had in her family. May God bless you all.
