Pat was the absolute best neighbor we've ever had. She was always willing to help out, just like neighbors should be. Pat was an honest, sincere, and intelligent woman with many experiences in life to share. Her love for outdoors and animals was something we loved about her. She was a true friend of nature. We shared some things in common, one thing sticks out in my mind-no fences between neighbors. Just a few weeks ago we talked about going shopping to find an environmentally friendly fence that we both liked--after talking about it, it became clear we both wanted the same exact type of fence! We didn't really want to put up a fence, but knew it was the best thing for our kids, and everyone's animals. We both said we wanted a black iron fence that blends in with our lovely trees and that you barely notice is there. One day when you drive by her old house you will see a black iron fence in ours next door, I still plan for that fence. It's hard to believe Pat's not there, next door anymore. We will always miss her and remember her fondly. My daughter and son will remember going to visit "Pat's cats". Jade (daughter) used to bug me everyday, "can we go over Pat's house", of course, I had to say no once in a while, but Pat never minded. She always found time for them to visit the kittens. Sometimes Pat would be outside in the summertime evenings and we would be out in the yard, and she would always say to Jim and me, "I'm glad we're neighbors". Well, Pat, we could have NEVER picked a better neighbor than you, God Bless You, as you are in HIS world now, where you rightfully belong, even though we miss you sooooo much here. You will always be a part of our lives, our "first" neighbor in our first home. You've obviously made a big impact on us, and we thank you for the last eight years.
With respect and love, Jim, Lisa, Jade, and Jacob Brown
