Dear Rhonda, Jim and family,
Jerri and I are so sorry to hear of Patrick’s passing! Pat was our son Chris’ quarterback and we have such wonderful memories of their playing days and friendship. Patrick was such a great kid and a friend to everyone he met. His leadership was by example and was always a bright light of enthusiasm and energy. Thank you both for the wonderful you did raising hi and for sharing his life with us all. We pray for comfort and God’s healing hand in your grief and God Bless.

Some of my fondest memories as a teen where with Patrick in them. He was the NWA greatest hype man in that he always made you feel great about yourself, until you played against him at something. Then he took great pleasure in trying to destroy you. Patrick and the whole Woodruff family welcomed me in their home and treated me like family and still do 30 years later. I’ll miss walking into a random place and hearing “My Man!” And that big laugh of his. Woody, you will be greatly missed my friend.
I have never seen a Celebration of Life service with that many people in attendance. It speaks volumes about the love and respect people have for Patrick and the entire Woodruff family. Jim & Rhonda, job well done!
i struggle to try to find the words to express how sorry I am at the loss of such a great Person He will be so missed , I will never be at a ball game that I won't think of Patrick and miss His cheerful smile and hand shake, think the Lord needed a great Base ball Coach, well He got one !!
