Peggy Lee Schumacher, age 74, passed away peacefully March 3, 2023 after a long illness. She was born December 29, 1949 in Lyons, Kansas to George and Mary Alice Schumacher and is survived by her brother, Doug, and his wife, Ellen Read Obituary
I was so sad to learn of Peggy’s passing. She had become my very close friend while I worked at Arkanshire and we continued that friendship all these years later. She taught me to plant and grow flowers when I’d never been able to grow anything. We would talk on the phone for hours. She was such a treasure as a person and friend. I will miss her everyday!
I am so sad to read of this news. I don't know what motivated me to look up Peg today, probably because I was listening to some music from Church of Today. Peg and I had wonderful times there together. Rest in peace my dear friend. Buffy
Peggy was my cousin. She was like the sister I didn’t have . We went to college together at William Woods, but then I got married, my husband was drafted and Vietnam happened. We didn’t see each other much after that. I regret that. I’m still in touch with her brother and sister and feel for them as they go through this loss. Love you both.
