Peggy Lee Schumacher's Obituary
Peggy Lee Schumacher, age 74, passed away peacefully March 3, 2023 after a long illness. She was born December 29, 1949 in Lyons, Kansas to George and Mary Alice Schumacher and is survived by her brother, Doug, and his wife, Ellen; by her sister, Ann and her husband, Meir; by her niece, Sara and her nephew, Andrew and his wife, Heather and their children, Georgia, Naomi and Hunter; and by her two devoted best childhood friends, Debbie Ritter and Melodie Friedebach.
Peggy always found ways to live her life creatively whether as a graphic artist, gardener, embroider, or craftswoman. Life for her was about color, design and beauty whether it was in her home, the way she dressed, or the art work she created. She will be missed by many and is deeply appreciated for bringing laughter and joy through her whimsical humor.
Please join us in celebrating her life on March 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Gardens of Arkanshire, 5000 Arkanshire Circle, Springdale, Arkansas 72764.
In lieu of giving flowers, we believe, for those who are able, Peggy would have appreciated a donation to Keely’s Fund (helps animals in need at http://keelysfund.org) at the Crossover Veterinary Clinic (479-750-7474).
