As I sat here to write a special memory of my buddy Randy, I hit her major roadblock… Which one? I’m at Lynn and Randy in 1973 and we all became fast friends lots in common. Lynn and I drank coffee and chain smoked and ran and Bobbi hunted fish and drank beer And you get the picture.
We became a diners club long before it was fashionable with two other couples Ron and Susan Price and Bobby and Janie Yerton. We rotated houses every weekend girls in the kitchen boys wherever this was cheap entertainment and always great. Great fun. We did graduate at lake 10 killer for weekend camp outs the the Yertons were special. They had a pop-up camper. I’m going to mention a very few of the adventures Randy shared in:
Randy trade traded in Lynn‘s luxury ride for a Ford bronco camped in a tent at Lake 10 killer with five tornadoes in snake creek where we were there in 1973 because their family was growing bigger vehicle. Randy bought Lynn a suburban which she thought was a school bus. Honestly, I think I could write a TV series about like our adventures.
Randy drove his laundry truck to Bobby’s mine house in Mountainburg with a live goat to be barbecued the next day.
Rest in peace, sweet Randy💔 it was always a pleasure to cook for you and Ronnie Price. It was always an unexpected adventure and a blast just being together!
