Randy Simmermon's Obituary
Randall “Randy” Steven Simmermon Sr., 75, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. He was born in Marshall, Missouri on March 30, 1950, to the late John and Mary Agnus Simmermon. Randall was the loving husband of Lynn (DeSantis) Simmermon.
Randy attended Northside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He proudly served in the US Marine Corp and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and dominoes. He worked as a materials manager in Fort Smith and loved his coworkers. He was a proud “Poppy” to his grandsons.
Randy was preceded in death by John Simmermon (father), Mary Agnes Byers (mother), Richard J. Simmermon (brother), Rick Byers (stepbrother), and Cecil Byers (stepfather).
His survivors include wife, Lynn Simmermon; children, Randall (Angie) Simmermon and Corey (Joe) Henderson all of Bentonville, Arkansas. He is also survived by his grandsons, Steven and Jay Simmermon; and his stepsister, Jean (Davis) Woods.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 10:30am until 11:30am at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Rogers. A private family only burial with military honors will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
