Whenever you saw a morning golfer, pulling his cart toward the PVAC club house, you knew it had to be Rick. Most of us rode, but not Rick. There was always a smile and a friendly wave. He will be missed. Hit ‘em straight up there, Rick.

Rick was a great roommate on the Pike fraternity floor at UCA. Such great times as we shared road trips with his football schedule and my basketball schedule. We probably had the two fastest cars on campus, his ‘68 GTX big block and my re-powered ‘63 Impala 427. Whether heading west on I-40 to our home towns of Conway and Fort Smith, or east in search of a wet county and a frosty beverage, we always seemed to want to set a new land-speed record. Fortunately we survived! We reconnected later in life and enjoyed many wonderful conversations, old stories and laughter. Rest in peace roomy, your love and character will live on in those you loved.
