“Mr”Bob Herbert was a pillar in my family and we were so proud to call him friend. We grew up watching him be a wonderful husband to Carole a great hands on father to Bobby, Scott , Mike and grew up together across the street for a time till our own families kept us busy in life. My memories are abundant with Mr. Herbert and his family mostly involving the water as my parents had houseboats together and we loved to paddle too, even entering many sporting events he was actually in as well. Always a fun filled family day with the Herbert’s. My heart is healing knowing he is reunited with Carole and Bobby, the reunion is especially sweet I know. We will pray all pray for strength in the days ahead missing this fine man, they don’t make em like Bob Herbert anymore we will certainly miss this gentle giant. 🙏🫶💔
