I was so sorry to hear about Ron’s passing. Though I only knew of him through Michele’s stories, it’s clear he was an extraordinary man—deeply intelligent, dedicated, and full of heart. His service to country, his sharp wit, and his passion for life came through so vividly in the beautiful tribute to him.
Please know my thoughts are with family during this incredibly difficult time. I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared and the love that surrounded you both. Wishing you strength, peace, and healing in the days ahead.
With deepest sympathy,
Although we never met, thank you for bringing Michele so much happiness and fulfillment in your years together. May you rest in eternal peace
I first met Ron an Michel to look at their beautiful country home in Pineville. Ron was as stern as Michel describes him, but he quickly warmed up and engaged in conversation. I learned he was a wonderful cook, as well a dog lover. I am sure he will be missed by his loving wife and pets, and anyone who knew him. Sitting down with him was akin to a good read with an old book. You just knew that once the conversation was flowing, you were going to learn a thing or two.
