I want to send my deepest condolences to the Morrison family for the loss of dear Sam. My mother and daddy were friends with Sam and Mary while we lived in Bentonville. They were such wonderful people--both of them! Mary helped me to find wild flowers and label them once for a science project in eighth grade. She was a gem. Sam and my dad played golf together almost every week and were such good friends. I remember Susan and the Morrison girls well. We went to church together, and our parents socialized after church on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Those were special days! Sam Morrison was a decent man with a wonderful sense of humor. He was always kind to me, and he always reminded me of my dad. Now I know you all are trying to remember who in the world I might be. I am Jan Gregory Osborn. My parents, Lawrence and Lola Gregory, have long since been deceased. I know they are all in heaven getting reacquainted again! We have wonderful memories of a safe and protected childhood in a small town. Our parents gave us that. I saw a photo of your house, and it looked just like it did in the sixties. I just wanted to to tell you how sorry I am for your loss, but also we can rejoice in the knowledge that Sam Morrison is walking hand in hand with his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. That is such a comfort! Sam will be missed by his family, friends, church community! He was a wonderful man!
