Samuel Kem Morrison's Obituary
Samuel Kem Morrison, age 94, of Bentonville passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021. He was born May 22, 1926 in Harriet, Arkansas to Kem and Vivian Viola Watts Morrison. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mary Morrison.
Samuel was a member of the Rotary Club, Bentonville School Board, Hospital Board, and was a World War II Army veteran in the 29th Infantry. He was a Sunday School teacher, a Deacon, and was on the Church Choir for fifty years.
He is survived by Susan and Mitch Shell, Carlton, Amber and Grant Johnson, Madison and Aurora Ember Johnson; Beth and Greg Parson, Secily and Justin, Zach and Alex Brown, Drs. Leah and Erik Mitchell, Rylan and Rhett Mitchell, and Holly Parson; Lou Ann and Dr. Andy Devlin, Dr. Samantha, Matt and Mike Devlin; Drs. Melissa and Robert Brown, Sam and Mary Catherine Brown; brother, Dr. Tom Morrison and Linda Lee.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 2, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, with funeral service starting at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Bentonville Cemetery with Military Honors.
