I knew Simone for a short time in London in the early 80s we lost connection through a trick of fate. I knew her as a musician and photographer and over the years have looked online to see if her name came up. It never did. Until 2 years ago when I came across this tragic obituary. A truly wonderful lady. I recall her many times I also recall her in songs I like to sing. Beautiful Simone hope you had a wonderful life. X

Heavy hearted. I was Simone's bestie for a lot of years in F'ville and NYC. Time and tide and life in general took us in different directions. I am sad to hear of her passing, too soon. I have a few photographs from the 80's NYC. I'll always remember Simone an astoundingly talented photographer, creative and funny and always up for adventure. Hello to Simone's mother & family. I was very sorry to read in the paper of Simone's passing this morning. I knew Simone back in the mid- to late-1970s, here in Fayetteville. After that, we lost touch as we were both moving around. I remember Simone is a beautiful person, both inside & out, & an extremely kind soul. I remember her extraordinary friendship & sense of humor the best. She was always up for an adventure, both of the physical kind (going new places) & cerebrally. We both shared a deep love of reading. I am very sorry that I did not know that Simone had returned to Fayetteville; I surely would've loved to gotten together with her again & share more joys. I read in the obituary about her dog Spanky. I am involved in animal rescue &, if needed, could help in rehoming her pup. My email address is [email protected] .
